What Causes Dizziness And Swollen Hands/legs/feet During Pregnancy?

hi Im 32 weeks pregnant with slight iron defficiency and somtimes when Ive been standing for more then half hr I become dizzy, light headed and the veins in my hands hurt and become swollen, my legs and particulary my feet. Is this something more sinester?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

No it is nothing sinister. During pregnancy your body has to fetch for your individual needs as well as that of your growing fetus. This can at times result in various nutrient deficineces, drop in blood pressure, rise in BP, change in blood sugar levels, etc.

If at all you are experiencing these undesired symptoms, report to your doctor and get evaluated ma'am. In most cases, it is normal and is nothing to cause concern.
