What Causes Dizziness And Vomiting?

i am hypertensive after 2 eclamptic pregnancies, my daughter is 10 yrs and i am now on life long medication. recently past 3 weeks i have been dizzy, had a bout of vomiting and then went to hospital, admitted with high blood pressure, -still not feeling 100%. there are no cat scans where i live, could there have been some cerebral odema? thank you i can t pay as on this island where i live i don t have online credit, i understand if you can t answer

Hello,

The fact that you had a hypotensive episode, vomiting and dizziness don't mean that you may have cerebral oedema.

You should continue the everyday antihypertensive medications as advised by a doctor. Maybe you should increase dose in order not to have a crisis.

You also can use nifedipine at the beginning of the crisis episodes.
