What Causes Dizziness Post Metoprolol And Primidone Intake?

my wife was prescribed metoprolol 25mg for tremors, which was not working. Her doctor recently changed her prescription to primidone 50 mg. Tonight she took both believing her doctor wanted her to take both but I believe she was suppose to drop the metoprolol. She is feeling a little dizzy after 1/2 hr. Is there a greater concern?

Hi,

If this is essential tremor then the prescribed medicine works well and if this is not giving any result then the dose of the medicine needs to be increased or a second molecule can be added.

What exactly happened, the dizzy feeling is not due to medicine but it could be something else and most probably could be depression or anxiety; thyroid dysfunction also needs to be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
