What Causes Dizziness, Shortness Of Breath And Rapid Heart Beat While Showering?

So I just got out of the shower. I was washing my hair when all of a sudden my body felt weird. I felt dizzy and short of breath and my heart was beating really fast.... I immediately got out of the shower due to fear of fainting... The symptoms went away when I got out the shower (I laid down) almost immediately but my heart beat remained fast... I even counted the beats 120 bpm.... I have a PMHx of asthma but that s it

Hi,

During the hot shower such symptoms are very common and it may be happening due to low oxygen level because of heat, condition need to be ruled out for the cardiac event too and it can not be taken as granted, symptoms can be due to cardiac illness and it needs EKG it is the only test which confirms the disease or clear the doubt.
