What Causes Dizziness, Tiredness And Elevated WBC Cells In An Elderly?
Hi. My father in law is far away, and his doctor never seems to know what is wrong. Symptoms -- 80 yr old: dizziness & weakness, and elevated white blood cells count ( high for years now). Antibiotics never do the trick. Can you suggest a specialist area?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I have read your description and understand your concern. Based on your description, you father would need further evaluation by undertaking the following investigations: 1. Complete Blood Count & Peripheral Smear Examination. 2. Bone marrow Aspiration Cytology. 3. Ultrasound scan of the abdomen. Kindly consult Physician with the report for clinical evaluation and further management. Hope the above suggestions would help your father to get better and keep good health. Kindly write to me in case you have any other quires in this regard. Wishing your father good health. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S. MBBS., MD.
