What Causes Dizziness When Suffering From Borderline Hypertension?

I am becoming dizzy and lightheaded when laying down. I seem to be fine as long as I am up. I have a history of Breast Cancer and my blood tests are normal. I also have a history of PAD and the recent surgery has corrected the problem. My blood pressure is borderline hypertensive. What steps should I take to prevent the dizziness. What do you think could be causing it?

Hi Thanks for using Healthcaremagic
Usually the light headedness and dizzy due to Blood pressure occurs on sitting up or standing up from lying down position.I think your problem is due to labryntine hyperactivity. It is situated in the middle ear and is the one helps for controlling posture of the body along with cerebellum(part of brain).
People can have vertigo when there is labryntine problem...
please see Wheather the problem is getting worse with changing the position of head.....
thank you....
