What Causes Dizziness While Changing Positions And Lying Down?
Have dizziness while going from a sitting position to a standing postion. Also when lay down flat on my back, ie. going to bed or laying in a recliner. Have some pressure in front and between between my ears. This has been happening for about 2 weeks now. I dont feel sick and my blood pressure is 118/82. I really need to know if this is something to go see my doctor about? Or what could it be?
Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
If you have giddiness on change of posture then probably you are suffering from benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. This is something involving the balance system of your ear. You should meet an ENT surgeon. He should do a test Dix Hall pike and if it comes positive then he will do a manoevre to correct it. You should not turn your head abruptly or change your position suddenly.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Take care.
