Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 66 yo male in excellent health except my doc has me on Lipitor 10mg for the past 10 years due to family history and a one time blockage that was stented. The cardiologist said other than the one partially blocked artery All others were clear. For the past 9 months I have been on Diovan 40mg. Now I am experiencing dizziness. My blood pressure is 130/75. Does it hurt to reduce or eliminate the Diovan? If so what are the side effects of a reduced or eliminated dose?
