How long should it take for blood pressure medicine to get into your system and the side effects go away. Started taking BP meds 2 weeks ago...25 mg Losartan. several days ago and since, have had spells of dizziness and lightheadedness and just feel like I m in a fog. BP is all over the board. now Taking amlodipine-valsartan 160/mg. does this just need to adjust to my body.. just don t know what to do
Dizziness on anti-hypertensive drug may be due to postural hypotension. Take BP on lying and then on standing position after 3 minutes. You may have to adjust the drug dosage. Avoid fixed dose combination.
