What Causes Dizziness While Turning My Head After A Ear Injury?

A day ago, I got hit by a piece of metal directly behind my ear, about halfway between the lobe and the top of my ear. The metal didn t break the skin, but there is a bruise and the spot is still tender, and there is a bit of a headache. I never lost consciousness, but even now, am getting a bit dizzy when turning my head, or if something touches the spot of the injury. I am a 48yr old female, no major health issues.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, let me tell little about ear, it has three parts outer, middle and inner ear, inner ear has two functions, hearing and balance, any insult to inner ear will cause dizziness, hearing loss or ringing sensation in ear, since you are still having dizziness my advice to you is to consult neurosurgeon or Ent specialist to know the cause for your dizziness and further management, take care.
