Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Was just checking my blood pressure and have a question. it registered 143/84 with pulse of 70. I am 59 years of age very active and in great shape. Been noticing sometimes I get a little dizzy for a second and my head feels a little 'fuzzy' should I be concerned?
As your BP and pulse seems to be normal. Postural giddiness may be reason for your dizziness.
Kindly recollect or observe when you are experiencing the dizzy feel. If you experience during change of posture then it can be called as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. It causes brief episodes of mild to intense dizziness. It usually triggered by specific changes in the position of your head. This might occur when you tip your head up or down, when you lie down, or when you turn over or sit up in bed.
Kindly visit your physician if it occurs more frequently and disturb your daily activities.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
