What Causes Double Vision After Using Maxitrol?

I was prescribed a ointment for my eyes.After about four days of using it I found out I was allergic.My eyes was swollen, itching, burning. I went back to the doctor and he barley look at me. He prescribed Maxitrol and Wal Malt pharmacy gave me a generic (Neo/Poly/Dex now I have double vision.

stop the ointment. take levocetrizine 5 mg tablet daily. apply cromal eye-drop 3 times daily. take note of ointment you have used,you should never use the ointment.
