Here you need to understand what happens in
stroke. In stroke either due to
ischemia or infract there will be damage in brain tissue. In ischaemic stroke there will be reduced circulation so there will be damage in brain cells but all cells will not be died so recovery can be possible up to some extent. And for stroke due to infract there will be stoppage of blood flow to part of brain and the cells over there will be dead. Here this cells can not be regenerated so recovery will be difficult.
Double vision is caused by damage to nerves responsible for moving the eyes and ensuring that both eyes are aligned (i.e. looking at the same place).
Many time after stroke there will be damage or disturbace to vagus system also. This vagus system basically helps for regulating different involuntary activity of body like
heart rate, respiration and secretion of digestive juices etc.
And due to stroke there may be disturbance in this as well as in
sensory system too. So because of this also there will be vibrating feeling on chest as well may be due to hospitalisation for long time as well reduce respiratory immunity and capacity many time patient also develop respiratory infection and congestion.
Here good thing is his blood pressure is in control and his rest of parameter like
cholesterol is also good. So my suggestion is keep positive attitude towards life and follow proper
rehabilitation program with physio and discuss regularly about his medical parameter and health with your doctor for doing required changes.
Take care.
