Hi, I have the flu from which I m beginning to recover. I came down with it last Saturday morning and have been on my back since then, only today has my temperature returned to normal (highest was on Sunday at 101.5 degrees). No vomiting, only respiratory issues. Have had no appetite, but I have been keeping hydrated with water and Gatorade. I ve been taking Advil and over-the-counter cough remedies, which I believe have helped. The issue: I started seeing double a few days ago (Sunday) and it has continued. This symptom occurred previously several years ago when I had the flu, and by the time I saw the doctor, the condition had gone away and no diagnosis was provided. I am a 75 year-old male who had a stroke in 2007 and am on various heart and blood medications (Lipitor Toprol, Lisinopril, Flomax, Aspirin, CPAP for sleep apnea). Weather permitting, I walk five miles per day and am overweight due to the enjoyment of good food and wine. Do you have any thoughts on the double-vision issue?
