What Causes Drainage Of Watery Yellow Fluid From Nose?

I have watery yellow fluid coming from my left nostril - not constantly, but every 15 - 20 minutes - this is not a mucus but is thin fluid like water. Is there a chance it might be cerebrospinal fluid? I am a little anxious as I have never had this before. thank you for helping me with this problem.

HI.
Read and understood your history of drainage of watery yellow fluid coming from the nose, every 15 to 20 minutes.
Yes there is a chance of cerebro-spinal fluid.
A simple test can decide the cause.
Collect the fluid in a glass tube. Send it to the lab to know whether this is cerebrospinal fluid or not.
You will then also need a MRI of the brain and the sinuses with contrast studies after a putting a dye in the lumbar puncture site and get a confirmed diagnosis and treatment.

The treatment will depend upon the cause of this fluid.
