What Causes Drooling From One Side Of Mouth While On C-pap Breathing Mask?
My husband, age 76, mentioned tonight that his beard was wet on the right side from drooling last night.. It is continuing today an he can t move the corner of his mouth much on the right side.. He does wear a C-Pap breathing mask at night.. He can smile an stick his tounge out straight an no problems with speech so it doesn t seem stroke related.... He does do Chemo every 2 months for MDS.. Hello and thank you for using HCM. It sounds like he may have developed Bell's Palsy. This is a condition that affects the facial nerve and can cause drooping of the mouth that can look like a stroke. He should see a doctor for evaluation as there are some medications that may shorten the course of this if he does have Bell's palsy.
