What Causes Drop In Hcg Level During Pregnancy?

I have had a tiny bit of spotting in my pregnancy I am currently 9 and a half weeks preg. the first day of my last period was Oct 31 2011..On nov.28 my hcg was 28.4, December 2nd 314.8, dec 6 -2705.7, Dec 8 - 5228.2 , Dec 20 - 63366.5, (dec 22 - 92465.7), (Dec 24 - 91983.7) dec 26 - 103766.5, Dec 30 - 128991.3...My question why did my hcg drop slightly on dec 24th and start to rise again fine. I have no more spotting my cervix is closed and had an ultrasound on Dec 22 which showed a heart beat of 150 and all looked fine. Should I be worried about my hcg level.

Hi dear .in this case, no need to worry..not at all..monitoring a pregnancy by bhcg is quite rare..as your ultrasound indicates a viable fetus, all is fine..continue to monitor your pregnancy through routine antenatal check ups and investigations..
