Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Niraj Modi's Response
Dropping of jaw can happen due to facial muscle weakness and so that it is not supporting the tempromandibular joint (jaw joint). When I have patient like this I suggest to take physio therapy, and as a treatment I will give facial muscle stimulation as well if there is inflammation at TM joint then will also do ultrasound. Along with this I will also suggest patient to meet a orthopedic to have some more option with surgical stabilisation or medication if needed. Take care.
