What Causes Drowsiness, Discomfort Chest Along With Numbness On Left Side?
I am 27 years old and I am having symptoms that seem to be heart failure , I was told i had fluid around my heart when me son was born 18 months ago but they told me it would go away , i feel drowsy, and my chest feel weird, i also get numb on my left side, should i go to an ER or wait to see a doctor, its been going on 3 days
I really appreciate your concern. If you had fluid around your heart (pericardial effusion) then you can have above mentioned symptoms. If you are having severe chest discomfort then you visit ER to rule out any serious cardiac damage. In milder discomfort you can wait to have appointment from your doctor. This time you should have all the necessary investigations done to find the cause of the fluid collection around heart.
Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
Best Regards. Dr. Manan
