What Causes Dry And Peeling Skin On Lower Eyelids?
i have two concerns. The first is, my skin on my lower eyelids is peeling (dry skin). If I try to moisturize the areas it burns. My second concern is, for the past couple of months I have several small bumps on the inside of both my eyelids. They seem to be getting bigger but aren t painful. I stopped using any make up because I thought it might be that. But the bumps are not going away. What could be causing these problems? Ive had blurred vision along with sensitivity to light during this time, also.
Hi, Thanks for choosing HCM, I had gone through your both questions and understand your concerns. No doubt, it could be fungal infection. superadded by infection. so you are getting bumps in your eyelids. 1) First concern...fungal infection of eyelids. treated by Tab Fluconazole weekly once for 8 weeks. 2) second concerned ...bumps in the eyelids due to infection...use Cap Cephalexin 250 mg 2 times daily. 3) Hot moppings on eyelids. 4) Terbinafine lotion on eyelids, avoid eye contact. Hope this helps you.
