What Causes Dry Cough, Heart Palpitations, Loss Of Voice And Stiff Neck?

my 19 year old daughter has been feeling sick for approximately 5 days. She s had a dry cough, a fast heartbeat, and now she s starting to lose her voice and is getting a stiff neck. She went to the ER a few days a go but they ran tests and sent her home. No particular diagnosis.

Thanks for your query.
Obviously ER personnel making a particular diagnosis is difficult as your daughter needs special tests.
Since she is suffering from dry cough, heart palpitations, loss of voice and stiff neck, i would advise you the following:
She needs to be seen by an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, Examination and investigations: like Thyroid function tests, Endoscopy of the pharynx and Larynx to know the reasons for loss of voice, X-ray of the chest and neck and so on.
This will give a proper diagnosis and proper treatment.
