preoperative investigation will be carried out. for macular degeneration postoperative vision may not be very good. dry eye syndrome can be managed and after surgery you will continue to apply lubricating eye drop. only problem will be if dry eye is due to pjogrens syndrome which suppress all body secretion including tear. but in preoperative investigation it will be diagnosed. as iol take toric monochromatic iol and for residual defect specs can be taken.
