Was diagnosed with dry eye syndrome. Recently I had my hair cut when stylist noticed bald patch. I started receiving injections from a dermatologist for alopecia aerate. During the 4 month period when I lost my hair, my eyes didn’t water. Now my hair is growing back and eyes are back to watering. I did get tested for sjorgens which was negative and my mother passed due to complications of sarcoidosis back in 1974. Could my symptoms be related to autoimmune and if so, what course of action would one recommend.
