What Causes Dry Feeling While Coughing And Headache While On Oral Cough Supplements?

I went to the doctor s on last Friday and they diagnosed me with mild asthma and Bronchitis. They provided me with pred, an inhaler, and cough pearls. The cough pearls makes my cough really dry so I have stopped taking them. Since then my cough has become so much worse, and now I have a stuffy nose, nose is burning, fatigue, headache, ears hurt, I m cold, and my front gums hurt. As the days go by I seem to be getting worse.

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I reviewed your query and here is advise.
I think you can use antihistamines for this dry cough and pseudoephedrine for nasal congestion. Post nasal dripping can cause cough.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
