What Causes Dry, Itchy, Red Skin On Hairline And What Is The Solution?
Yes, just in the past week I have noticed dry, itchy, red skin along my hairline. I have not tried any new shampoos and have never had this there before. I am wondering what causes it and what I can do to improve it as it is upsetting that it is so noticeable. Any suggestions?

Hi,
It may be seborrheic dermatitis. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply mild steroid lotion on the affected areas. Take a short and tapering course of oral steroid. Cleanse the scalp with ketoconazole containing shampoo.Avoid the stress, worries and tension,which may trigger the disease. Take enough sleep.
