What Causes Dry Lips With Purple Color?
hi my two and half yr old lips has been dry and purple looking for the past 2 weeks we visited our family physician and he did the basic check and said everything seems fine, that is with his heart and lungs but to monitor it, might be something he ate. Can i get your advise?

Bluish discolouration of lips occurs due to heart , lung or blood problems. If the bluish discolouration continues you should get an Echocardiography, blood for Methemoglobinemia done. If the problem would have been in the lung the child would have respiratory distress which i think is absent. hope this helps.
