What Causes Dry Red Rashes On The Left Breast, Waist And Thighs?
Hi, it started with one rash on my left breast and now I have red dry rashes on the side of my breasts, both side on waist and behind my thighs. At the starting of my left leg it looks a bump though and some watery substance came out of it. Please advise what is this.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis. My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole cream on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetrizine.
4. Other treatment options are oral Fluconazole, Itraconazole and Terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
