I am hypothyroid since almost four years. Now i notice just on forehead part (center of crown) it shows more skin as if balding. I am confused if its due to the gray roots but i also see after coloring skin shines. I also have psoriasis of the scalp but under control have not applied or had medication since two yrs. at two points still have bump kind. I have been gaining weight and remain so bloated that the dress i wear in morning does not fit in the evening so uncomfortable i am 24x7 bloated. . Also around the nose i notice dry skin like dandruff. Rest of the head has thick hair two yrs back hair growth was very fast now slowed down is it thryoid? Started a week back Amylac lotion due to dry skin and cracked heals. keraglo eva one tab a day for hair loss to be continued for 3 months. Kerglo XL serum for application on the scanty forehead. Hi. As per your case history you are having seborrheic dermatitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30. 2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid, oral fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
