Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of dry lips.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion by tongue as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a vitamin b12 plus folic acid supplement like folimax-12 once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are topical steroid, oral antibiotics taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
