What Causes Dry Throat And Difficulty Swallowing After Bad Cough?

I had a bad cough for about a month and now im over it about 3 weeks now and I have had what feels like dry throat and trouble swoaling at times but doesn t seem to go away. I drink lots of water and have even tried cough drops all day for a week still discomfort

As per your clinical history it appears that you are having chronic cough .

Chronic cough may be because of allergic rhinitis , acid re-flux & asthma.

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily , Plenty of fluids , Vitamin C , Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination & Esomeprazole 40mg.
