What Causes Dry Throat And Mucus Struck In Throat?
Hi, i ALWAYS have an EXTREMELY dry throat and a mucus stuck in my throat.....it has severely progressed to the extent that i now have short coughs inbetween. The dryness of the throat is so severe that when i drink water it still doesnt relieve me,and it makes the mucus feeling worse!....please HELP!!!

It is possible that the symptoms are related to postnasal drip of mucus due to allergic sinusitis.
This is most commonly caused by allergies but can also occur with other causes such as infection.
Treatment involves avoidance of the particular allergen if it is known and also the use of medications.
The medications normally used are topical steroid nasal sprays and also antihistamines.
The sprays may require prescription from your doctor.
