What Causes Dryness And Itching In The Nose?

My nose is very dry and itchy. I am not taking any new meds, have been eating strawberries and blue berries often to my knowledge they have never caused a problem in the past. It has happened before and my ears also itched. I blamed it on a cream I used for arthritis. I have not used any cream lately.
