What Causes Dryness In The Mouth Followed By Chest Burns?

I have GERD and I was exercising I then started to notice that my mouth was getting very dry and I felt I was getting dehydrated, when I tried to spit nothing came out. I felt sick and my mouth was burning I think it was the acid coming up to my mouth. My saliva was very white. I started feeling light headed. I drank water and I calmed down. My throat and mouth and chest still burns though. What should I do?
