What Causes Dull Ache In Groin With Frequent Urination?

My boyfriend is experiencing a dull ache in his inner thigh/groin area and more frequent urination. He went to the doctor and had blood work and a urine sample tested...all clear (blood counts were normal, no sign of infection). He is currently taking antibiotics...but if there is no infection...what could it be.

Hi,

As his blood and urine reports are normal then it may not be infection. It may be due to renal or bladder stone. Does he has blood in urine? For that kindly do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis after surgeon consultation. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. If stone size is less than 4 mm then it will be cleared by hydration therapy otherwise have to do surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
