What Causes Dull Achy Pain In The Right Side Of Abdomen?
I am having a dull achy type pain on the right side of my abdomen under my ribs. Sometimes it makes my mid back hurt. Worse after meals. I had my hall bladder out a coule of years ago. Have a couple of ulcers but taking my meds.. I am overweight. It's getting on my nerves.
hi thank you asking HCM with regards to your symptom s they may be related with : 1.biliary tract issues like sludge ( should perform abdominal ultrasound 2.even you have gallbladder out)stomach problems like gastritis ulcer ( you need to do upper endoscopy). for the moment I would advise to loose weight and avoid fatty foods. wishing you all the best Dr.klerida
Hi. Thanks for your query. The commonest reasons for pain in abdomen and reference to the back are : Ulcer on the posterior wall of stomach - you have got a history too. Pancreatitis. * Get confirmed by upper GI Endoscopy and CT scan.. * Treatment as per the findings.
