What Causes Dull Burning Pain Under Rib Cage?

Hello. I have been experiencing a dull burning pain under my left rib cage for about four days now. It seemed a bit better yesterday and then was back this morning. I am a 45 year old female. Suggestions on how long I should give it before I see a doctor or recommendations? Thank you,

Hello,
There are three common possibilities.
1. It can be cardiac pain.So i would recommend you to not to delay and get your ECG to find out if this is the thing which is causing this pain .
2. It can be gastritis pain.
3.It can be muscular pain.
Since there is chances of heart problem , I would recommend you not to delay the treatment and try to find out solutions as soon as possible. You can share his opinion with me , Feel free to ask any other followup questions.
