What Causes Ear, Arm And Hand Numbness With Dizziness?

Numbness in my left ear coming and going, left arm and hand numb and weak some days, dizziness feeling tired. I had one very bad headache tightness in my head and jaws for 10-20 mins . MRI clean in brain and neck, shown only fluid in mastoid cells on left side and a very little on the right side. Can it be the cause of my symptoms?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, fluid in the Mastoid air cells is suggestive of mastoiditis which is inflammation of Mastoid air cells. This can be a cause of low grade pain and heaviness in the ear and head. Sometimes severe pain can be there along with discomfort. Your arm and hand numbness can't be explained with mastoiditis and you need to see a neuro for that. For mastoiditis, a course of antibiotics with nasal decongestants and oral decongestant will help in resolution. If not mastoidectomy will help in long term resolution of symptoms. Regards
