What Causes Ear Discomfort And Impaired Hearing?

hey whats going on. My ear has been giving me annoyance for a couple of months now. It doesn t feel like an ear infection cause its not hurting bad but i can tell somethings not right. Ive done alot of swimming but i dont think that is the cause. Also i went to my doctor and he told me nothing looked wrong in my ear. He said the eardrum is fine and the ear looks okay. He prescribed me some eardrops but so far it doesnt feel like its working. My hearing feels the same but like i said my ear doesnt. what could be wrong?

hello,thnaks for your query, swimming can cause infection, check out with audiometry for hearing loss. related to pain , referred pain from tooth , tongue, tonsil also can cause pain ear.check all these.hope i have answered your query. all the best. take care.
