What Causes Ear Infection And Pain?

Hello, I m a mother of two kids. My eldest daughter is 3 years old and she s been complaining about her ears that is painful for some time. I guess it s almost a week now until i ve noticed that there s a brownish dark orange discharge in her ears. I m so worried since she doesn t want me to touch her ears or check on it because she said it s painful. What should i do? what home remedies should i try. Can i try my ear drops inoflox into her ears? Thank you so much.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for the query.

Brownish dark orange discharge most likely due ear wax. Since her ear also painful , underneath ear infection also possible. Don't put inoflox ear drop.
I will suggest you to please consult your ENT doctor because here clinical examination is very important to diagnose the real fact and accordingly treatment may be planed.

Hope above information helpful to you , take care.
Regards - Dr KK ( Karade )
