Hi! My left ear feels like there is water in it, and I have minor pain. Also, touching the ear (even with a hair) sounds incredibly loud. My hearing is otherwise normal. Could this be something simple like an infection? I have CIDP (a neurological condition) and do not know if these symptoms could be nerve / disease related. Thanks.
HI Thank for asking to the HCM I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that the condition of your ear could be due to the cold, and there must be some collection inside the eat near the drum and this need to be ruled, Eustachian tube block could be the condition, and this is not the neurological problem, and this would come around with general management like, steam inhalation, and antihistamine, take care and have a nice day.
