What Causes Ear Pain And Headache After Using Ear Plugs?
I have slept with ear plugs for the past 6 years or so because of my wife s snoring. I m starting to believe that this is causing me to have jaw problems (TMJ) and I have a pain around my ear. Is this possible? I also wake up with headaches. Last night I decided not to wear them to see what would happen. Any advice? Thanks

Continuous use of ear plugs which are snugly fitting causes pressure over the ear cartilage and can cause pain and inflammation of the area.
Better advice would be not to use the ear plugs but have an examination of your wife for snoring as snoring signals disease and most of the time it is curable.
