What Causes Ear Pain With Patches On The Eardrum?

I took my 2year old daughter to the gp today as she has been complainin of her ear hurting. When she looked into her ear she found 3 spots on her ear drum. She got another doctor to have a look and they both said they have never seen this before. They have told me it is nothing to worry about and to come back in 2 weeks. I was woundering if you may know what it is. Thanks

Thanks for the query.
I would suggest you to see a ENT surgeon as soon as possible, to rule out any ear drum perforation.
Eardrum injuries can be extremely painful and, in the worst cases, might lead to infections and hearing loss.
