I'm asking on behalf of a friend...she has a 4 year old daughter who is complaining that her ear hurts...The mom looked into her ear and sees this white guey stuff? Is that possibly a sign of infection? No fever is present..but the child complains that it hurts
Hello That kind of discharge from the ear likely indicates an external ear infection, but she may also have a middle ear infection so a doctor needs to take a look since she might need a combination of external antibiotic ear drops and a course of oral antibiotics
