Hi there...I m a 45 yr-old-female. I ve had a dull double earrache and trouble taking deep breaths for about 6 weeks now. Today it became more acute than usual. My ears are really hurting and I have pain in my esophagus, like a lump. Have to sit down and not exert myself. I m normally in excellent condition - a runner. My doctor is out for 2 days. Should I wait it out, or go to urgent care? What could be wrong?
It seems that you are having upper respiratory tract infection. Visit your doctor. In the meantime start tab Augmentin for 1 week. Take Nasoclear nose drops for 2 week. Take proper steam inhalation. Do warm saline gargle. Take Omeprazole tablet 20 mg twice daily before food for 2 week. Start Deriphyllin or Montelukast tablet at night.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
