Hi,

Normally after an unsuccessful IUI the periods start within 9-14 days of date of insemination, as seems to be in your case. Sometimes you may need multiple cycles for a successful IUI. Over all 88-90% IUI successful pregnancies occur within 3 cycles and 95% within 4 cycles in premenopausal women. Over all 10-20% successful pregnancy rate has been observed per cycle of IUI. However, it may be recommended to try 3 cycles of IUI in women up to 4o yrs of age and only one cycle after age of 40 before trying for IVF.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
