What Causes Edema On Lower Limbs?

i have noticed edema of my lower limbs sparing angle and foot mainly in the second half of the day for the past one and half years. i have a h/o prerenal failure during a hospital admission following meningitis (viral) that recovered. now my renal parameters and other routine check ups are normal . what could be the cause?

Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, you need to be cautious about with your kidneys, get regular check up, also get your Blood pressure check up, as that can also cause edema in the feet, also rule out any local allergy.
