Hi,

The symptoms you are describing, do not corelate to any physical disorder. So many symptoms pertaining to practically every organ of the body indicate more towards the somatization of your symptoms. Also, as the history and your lifestyle, particularly with regards to your appetite, sleep etc. is also not described, which may help in your proper diagnosis. You are describing your symptoms to be present since 1965 (Total 46 years), you have not described any progress / deterioration in your health condition.

If the symptoms as well as your health condition is same, then likelihood of a physical disorder is very unlikely. To me, basically it seems that you are suffering from some mental problem, may be anxiety, depression, phobias or panic attacks etc. You are also describing some viral etc., but you did not write, what the virus is / was.

It might also be possible, that you may be having symptoms of hallucinations with a possible diagnosis of schizophrenia etc. By all means, I am of the opinion that you should see some psychiatrist for proper evaluation of your health condition and treatment accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
