What Causes Elevated WBC Levels, Blood Discharge From Ear And Dry Cough?
I have just been told that my blood work shows elevated white blood cell count. No known infection at this time. Had a bloody discharge from one ear a few months ago. Just had a mole removed last week (after the blood work). Have a dry cough....quit smoking a year ago. what could be causing this...l

Elevated wbc count indicate infection. Sore throat might be the cause, as you have mentioned about dry cough.
