What Causes Elevated Albumin Levels In Infants?

I have a daughter 1year old.now she has swelling on face and foot,last week she admited in hospital .doctor said after urin test she has albumin 3plus in the urine.now she discharged from hospital and taking medicine . Sir my question is :what is the reason of this disease ,this disease compleatly curable or not and medicine content is steroid ,maybe it will become any side effect or danger to health

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
The history indicates that your daughter is suffering from Nephrotic syndrome.
If it is a minimal change nephrotic syndrome it will be cured within 3 months.
But usually in chidren less than 2 years and more than eight years is more severe and difficult tell the prognosis.
Better consult nephrologist and do the needful.
