What Causes Elevated Amylase With Irregular Heart Beat?
Recently told I have elevated amylase of 130. Have sporadic URQ pain. Previously told amylase was elevated. URQ is a bit distended. Regular daily sometimes 2x daily BM. 50 yr old female. Irregular heart beats. Carbon dioxide elevated to 32. Serum Lipase normal. What could this be? Was told no gallstones at er.

I appreciate your concern, what ever the finding given here are not correlated with the abdomen disease but it seems to be nonspecific findings, although clinical symptoms are not described here in details just a given a abdomen distension and it could be due to flatulence, I would suggest to get done the ultrasonography and abdomen ct scan just to rule out the underlying abdomen pathologies, hope this information helps
